Professor Mathias Nau
The Method PMN was created by the teaching genius Professor Mathias Nau, a multilingual educator from a German colony in southern Brazil (Blumenau). His mother tongues were German and Portuguese. He was also fluent in English and had studied Spanish, Italian, and Latin.
With this rich linguistic background, Professor Nau developed a powerful tool: a visual verb chart that simplifies and organises the structure of English verb tenses. The chart became the heart of his method – clear, efficient, and highly practical for students at any level. It was his response to the lack of effective, commercial didactic materials available at the time.
All About Me
My personal journey with the Method began early – around 7 or 8 years old. While my mother was teaching at the school, Professor Nau would invite me into his classroom and guide me through his verb chart. That early exposure left a mark. What started as a child’s curiosity turned into a lifelong mission: to continue, apply, and modernise his legacy.
Today, the Page Method PMN brings his vision to the digital age – combining structured grammar logic with dynamic, hands-on learning for modern students and educators alike.
